Golden Hour Swallows

Part of the 'Summer of '24' range, eight images inspired by my many dog walks in the West Oxfordshire and Cotswold countryside. This collection depicts this glorious region during my favourite time of year. Late Spring/ early summer for me is the perfect time, when everything is so lush and green, blooms are emerging in pretty pastels and wildlife is just going crazy!

A typical Cotswold scene, a village nestled in the undulating hills of this glorious countryside inspired by the area around Slad Valley. Here I have tried to capture that quality of light when the sun is low and the land is bathed in that golden glow. When the swallows are at their most active.

'Golden Hour Swallows' comes ready framed in a white painted wooden float frame. 

It is painted on a 30 x 30cms canvas, and painted in professional quality acrylic paint. It is finished off with a light mist of matt varnish for protection. Original signed by the artist.
